A theoretical-practical training on “Cyber security of home/institutional network” was held at Marijampole University of Applied Sciences. Artūras Lazauskas, Head of the Centre for Information Technologies and Electronic Studies, together with Marius Žitkus, Vice-Rector for Infrastructure and Project Activities, presented the topic of cyber security related to Local Area Networks (LANs) to students of the Business English and Communication and Information Systems Technology and Cyber Security study programmes. During the practical sessions, the students had the opportunity to apply their theoretical knowledge and configure commutators according to cyber security criteria.
